One of our goals at Common Ground is to experience God transforming our community through the power of prayer. Our hope is that Common Ground can serve as a community hub for prayer requests and praises from anyone in our community.
Another goal of Common Ground is to have a place to gather prayer warriors from all Christ-centered denominations and unite our voices as one. Making connections with others in our community who have a passion to pray is a great way to build camaraderie within our community.
Our hope is to encircle our community in 24/7, non-stop prayer so the presence of God will be think in our community. This takes a team of “watchmen” to accomplish.
What’s Unique About Common Ground Prayer Room?
Praying at Common Ground is not just for experts. It’s especially for those who find prayer a struggle. There are several prayer stations in the prayer room. Pray-ers are welcome to interact at each of these stations by praying for the prayer requests already posted or by adding to them. being able to go around to the different prayer stations can help inspire prayers and can make your experience less intimidating if spending an hour in prayer seems overwhelming to you. People learn to pray… by praying!
All Ages are Welcome
Children will enjoy creating pictures to hang on our Creative Expressions wall and are welcome to add their own request and praises at the different staitons. Scribbled notes are very appropriate from our young prayer warriors in training!
